Highlights: Liverpool 2-0 Tottenham

Liverpool won the UEFA Champions League for the sixth time in their history with a 2-0 win over English Premier League rivals Tottenham Hotspur at the Wanda Metropolitano Stadium in Madrid on Saturday night.
Jurgen Klopp’s side were awarded a controversial penalty in the opening minute of the game when Sadio Mane’s cross struck the arm of Moussa Sissoko, who gained no advantage of the ball striking him.
Mohamed Salah converted to give the Reds the very early lead. Tottenham would have the majority of possession and territory thereafter but very rarely threatened Alisson’s goal.
A Christian Eriksen free kick late on was about the only highlight of Spurs’ attack who had welcomed Harry Kane back for the first time in several weeks due to injury. The captain failed to test Liverpool’s goalkeeper once.
Divock Origi sealed the trophy for Liverpool on the counter-attack in the final 10 minutes.
