Internazionale were held 1-1 at home by 2018-19 Italian Serie A champions Juventus on Saturday night.

The highlight of the game was Cristiano Ronaldo scoring the 600th goal of his club career, just after the hour mark, after Radja Nainggolan had given the hosts a seventh-minute lead at the San Siro.

Ronaldo’s low strike was set up by a backheel from Miralem Pjanic after Nainggolan had given the hosts the lead with a spectacular 25-yard volley.

With the top four sides automatically qualifying for next season’s Champions League, Inter sit third in Serie A, six points clear of city rivals AC Milan who are down in fifth. Luciano Spalletti’s side are five points behind Napoli who are at Frosinone on Sunday.

Cristiano Ronaldo has scored 27 goals in all competitions for Juventus following his €100 million move from Real Madrid over the summer. He scored five for Sporting Club of Portugal before moving to Manchester United where he scored 118 goals. He spent the prime of his career scoring 450 goals for Real Madrid.

Juventus clinched their eighth successive Serie A title with a 2-1 win over Fiorentina last weekend.
