Highlights: Feirense 1-4 Benfica
Benfica came from behind to beat Feirense 4-1 at the Estadio Marcolino de Castro to go back on top of the Portuguese Primeira Liga on Sunday.
The home side took a surprise lead through Fabian Sturgeon after only 10 minutes and did not surrender it for half an hour when Pizzi equalised from the penalty spot. Benfica still had time in the first half to take the lead and did so through Andre Almeida two minutes into stoppage time.
It was one-way traffic in the second half as a brace from Haris Seferovic (49′, 89′) ensured a comfortable three points for Bruno Lage’s side.
FC Porto had gone top of the table following their 2-0 win at home to local rivals Boavista on Friday night. With six games to go both Benfica and Porto are neck-and-neck with the Lisbon club top of the table with a superior goal difference.
