Highlights: Wolves 1-3 Man City

Manchester City made an impressive start to their 2020-21 Premier League campaign with a 3-1 win away to Wolverhampton Wanderers.
Pep Guardiola’s side did without the injured Sergio Aguero and Aymeric Laporte, and against a side that did the double over them last season.
The Citizens took the game to Wolves from the start and were gifted a great chance to take the lead on 20 minutes when Kevin De Bruyne was felled in the bottom corner of the penalty area by Romain Saiss, when the Belgian superstar wasn’t going anywhere.
De Bruyne picked himself up and powered the ball past Rui Patrico. Phil Foden and Raheem Sterling had both gone close to opening the score in open play.
Phil Foden finished off a fine passing move from Manchester City in the Wolves final third to double their lead after half hour.
City had been on top for the majority of the game but Daniel Podence came close in the second half to halving the deficit, narrowly firing wide and over with Ederson beaten on both occasions.
Wolves did get their goal 12 minutes from time through a Raul Jimenez header.
Manchester City were not to throw away another 2-0 lead versus the West Midlands club as Gabriel Jesus wrapped up the three points in the fifth minute of stoppage time with a deflected effort that beat Rui Patricio at his near post.
