Highlights: Bayern Munich 5-2 Eintracht Frankfurt

Bayern Munich were clear and decisive 5-2 winners over Eintracht Frankfurt on Saturday evening as the defending champions restored their four point lead at the top of the German Bundesliga ahead of Tuesday’s showdown with Borussia Dortmund.
The hosts were well on top before Leon Goretzka produced a fine finish to break the deadlock on 17 minutes. It remained one way traffic throughout the first half before Thomas Muller doubled Bayern’s lead five minutes before the break.
Less than 60 seconds into the second half and the game appeared to be put to bed when Robert Lewandowski made it 3-0.
However, a bizarre four minutes saw Eintracht Frankfurt centre-back Martin Hinteregger score twice from two corners to make it 3-2 before the hour.
The reduced deficit didn’t last long though as the ball broke kindly for Alphonso Davies to make it 4-2 five minutes later before an own goal from Hinteregger 15 minutes from time sealed the emphatic victory.
