Highlights: Real Madrid 2-1 Sevilla

Real Madrid added to their Super Cup win in Saudi Arabia last week with a big three points in La Liga with a 2-1 win over Sevilla on Saturday afternoon.
Luuk de Jong thought he’d given the visitors an early lead but VAR overturned the goal as Eder Militao was taken up during the delivery of the corner.
It was Real Madrid who made the breakthrough with a fine run and chip from Casemiro to put Zinedine Zidane’s side 1-0 up.
The lead only lasted seven minutes as de Jong scored a fine 18-yard effort with his left foot. It was only the Dutch international’s third La Liga goal in 17 appearances following his move from PSV Eindhoven last summer.
Casemiro was the man of the hour as the Brazilian was given the freedom of the six-yard box to head Real Madrid back in front 20 minutes from time. He was picked out by Lucas Vasquez’s cross from the right wing.
Real Madrid move three points above rivals Barcelona, who host Granada on Sunday.
