Chelsea produced their first win under Frank Lampard in a thrilling 3-2 victory at Carrow Road on Saturday lunchtime.

The Blues had been thrashed 0-4 by Manchester United and held 1-1 at home by Leicester City in a tough opening pair of fixtures for the new manager.

It took just three minutes for the Blues to take the lead when Tammy Abraham produced a fine volley to turn home a deep cross from Cesar Azpilicueta.

Norwich, who were 3-1 winners at home to Newcastle United last weekend, took less than three minutes to equalise against Chelsea. Todd Cantwell played a one-two inside the penalty area with Teemu Pukki, turning the ball home from close range.

Mason Mount continued his fine start to the season and an exciting start to this game, collecting a pass from Christian Pulisic, cutting inside the last defender and firing Chelsea back in front from 14 yards after 17 minutes.

Daniel Farke’s side have been one of the most exciting to watch in the opening weeks of the new season and kept up their standards by equalising on half hour. The star of the month has been striker Teemu Pukki, who managed to beat Kepa Arrizabalaga from a tight angle to make the scoreline 2-2 after half hour.

The only other goal in the game came midway through the second half when Abraham collected a pass 30 yards out, cut inside and fired past Tim Krul from 20 yards out. The former Aston Villa loanee had had a tough first two games in the Premier League but started to show some potential this afternoon.
