Highlights: Arsenal 2-1 Burnley

Arsenal made it two wins from two to start their 2019-20 Premier League campaign with a 2-1 win against Burnley at the Emirates Stadium on Saturday lunchtime.
Alexandre Lacazette scrambled the Gunners into a 13th minute lead as he was being dragged to the ground inside the six-yard box. The French striker had had a headed attempt tipped over the bar by Nick Pope moments before.
Although Arsenal dominated the possession the visitors were able to create a number of chances and equalised through Ashley Barnes shortly before half-time. The Austrian poked home from close range after a deflected effort fell kindly into the striker’s path. Reiss Nelson thought he’d given Arsenal the lead in first half stoppage time only for the goal to be ruled out for offside.
Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang scored the winning goal for a second game to start the season. The striker produced an excellent strike into the bottom corner from 18 yards after Dani Ceballos had won the ball back for Arsenal outside the opponents’ penalty area.
Arsenal travel to Champions League holders Liverpool next Saturday.
