Highlights: Bournemouth 1-1 Sheff Utd

Sheffield United marked their return to the Premier League for the first time in 12 years with a credible 1-1 draw at Bournemouth on Saturday.
Eddie Howe’s side had taken the lead through Chris Mepham’s first Premier League goal when the defender rebounded home after Callum Wilson had seen his effort parried by Sheffield United goalkeeper Dean Henderson.
Bournemouth would be denied all three points three minutes from time when substitute Billy Sharp bundled home his first Premier League goal. The 33-year-old had only been on the field of play for six minutes but was on hand to score Sheffield United’s equaliser after Oli McBurnie’s scuffed effort bounced off Nathan Ake into his path.
Sharp had only previously made two Premier League appearances, both with Southampton at the start of the 2012-13 season. He has been a legend in the EFL Championship either side of his move to St Mary’s, helping the Blades back into the top flight with his 24 goals in all competitions last season.
