Highlights: Chelsea 1-1 Eintracht Frankfurt (4-3 on pens)

Chelsea made it an all-English 2018-19 Europa League final with the elimination of German Bundesliga outfit Eintracht Frankfurt in a penalty shootout at Stamford Bridge on Thursday night.
The two sides had drawn the first leg 1-1 at the Commerzbank-Arena last week, but Chelsea had remained heavy favourites to win the second leg on home soil.
It proved a difficult challenge for Maurizio Sarri’s side, even after taking a 28th-minute lead through Roben Loftus-Cheek.
Luka Jovic equalised just four minutes into the second half, the same player who had scored for the Eagles on home soil last week.
Cesar Azpilicueta harshly had a goal disallowed whilst the visitors had two efforts cleared off the line in extra-time as neither team could get the deciding goal.
The match went down to spot kicks and Chelsea were the first to miss when Azpilicueta saw his effort saved.
Kepa Arrizabalaga proved to be the hero for Chelsea; first when he saved Martin Hinteregger’s fourth penalty between his legs and then from Goncalo Paciencia, with Eintracht Frankfurt’s fifth and final spot kick. Eden Hazard, potentially playing his final game for Chelsea at Stamford Bridge, converted the decider to make it all-English tie in the final later this month, taking on fellow Londoners Arsenal at the Olympic Stadium in Baku, Azerbaijan.
