Highlights: FC Porto 4-0 Aves

FC Porto temporarily moved back to the Portuguese Primeira Liga with a convincing 4-0 win at home to Aves on Saturday. However, the Dragons found themselves pushed back down to second later in the day as Benfica won.
Jesus Corona gave the hosts the lead after 18 minutes before Sergio Conceicao’s side went two up after half hour thanks to Francisco Soares’ penalty.
Goals from Wilson Manafa (68′) and Soares again (70′) in the second half gave FC Porto an emphatic victory and another clean sheet for the season. Vana Alves started in goal for the first time this season following Iker Casillas’ recent heart attack. The players and fans showed their support for the legendary goalkeeper pre-game whilst the Spaniard recovers in hospital.
With just two games to play, Porto will be hoping for maximum points and Benfica to lose to either Rio Ave (away) or Santa Clara (home) if they are to beat their rivals to the league title this season.
