Cristiano Ronaldo scored a late equaliser to prevent Juventus from losing the Turin derby at home for the first time in 24 years.
Massimiliano Allegri’s had already wrapped up the Serie A title heading into May and are out of all cup competitions following their Champions League exit to Ajax at the quarter-final stage last month.
So it came as a surprise to many when Sasa Lukic gave Torino the lead at the Allianz Stadium on Friday night, capitalising on a Miralem Pjanic error in the 17th minute.
Juventus didn’t have it all their own way as they struggled to break down the solid Torino defence until Ronaldo headed home in the 84th minute from Leonardo Spinazzola’s cross.
The point for the visitors sees them end the evening in 6th place before the weekend’s fixtures, whilst Juventus are on 87 points with three games to play.
