Highlights: Getafe 0-0 Real Madrid
Getafe moved back into the fourth and final Champions League spot with a 0-0 draw at home against Real Madrid on Thursday evening.
Zinedine Zidane had made a number of changes to his side that look set to finish in third place, perhaps evaluating for next season. There were starts for Gareth Bale, 22-year-old Sergio Reguilon, 20-year-old Uruguayan Federico Valverde and 19-year-old Brahim Diaz at the Alfonso Perez Coliseum. Diaz himself some nice touches.
Karim Benzema and Isco both missed guilt-edge chances in a dull affair that saw Getafe move back into fourth spot on head-to-head record over Sevilla, who had temporarily moved above them with their 5-0 thrashing of bottom of the league Rayo Vallecano earlier in the day.
Real Madrid are 10 points ahead of Getafe and six behind Atletico Madrid in second, with four games to go. The minnows from Madrid may fancy their chances of sneaking into the Champions League with their remaining fixtures.
