Highlights: Eintracht Frankfurt 2-0 Benfica

Eintracht Frankfurt have eliminated Benfica from the Europa League on away goals following a 2-0 win at the Commerzbank-Arena on Thursday night.
The German Bundesliga outfight had trailed 2-4 from the first leg but goals from Filip Kostic (37′) and Sebastian Rode (67′) saw Eintracht Frankfurt win the battle of the Eagles in Europe.
Filip Kostic’s opener was tucked away after a teammate had struck the outside of the post. The Serbian coolly finished across goal with goalkeeper Odisseas Vlachodimos still lying on the ground from his dive.
Adi Huetter’s side sealed their place in the final four of this season’s competition when Kevin Trapp’s goal kick was not cleared by the Benfica defence, finally falling to Sebastian Rode on the edge of the area who placed the ball past the finger tips of Vlachodimos.
Eintracht Frankfurt will meet Chelsea in the semi-finals of this season’s competition, whilst Arsenal and Valencia meet in the other tie for a place in this season’s final at the Olympic Stadium in Baku on 29 May.
