Highlights: Bayern Munich 5-0 Borussia Dortmund

Bayern Munich moved to the summit of the Bundesliga with an emphatic 5-0 thrashing of title rivals Borussia Dortmund at the Allianz Arena on Saturday.
The visitors had started the day two points ahead of the Bavarians but were left shell-shocked following a ruthless first-half display from Niko Kovac’s side.
Goals from Robert Lewandowski, Mats Hummels, Serge Gnabry and Javi Martinez gave Bayern an unasailable 4-0 half-time lead.
Lewandowski scored his second of the game two minutes from time to make the scoreline even more emphatic against his former side. He has now scored 14 goals in 16 appearances since making the move in 2014.
It was one-way traffic all game as they hosts produced 22 shots compared to Dortmund’s four, of which 10 were on target to the visitors’ one.
Bayern Munich now have the advantage in the title race as they go in search for a record seventh consecutive crown. Kovac’s side are one point ahead with six games remaining. Neither side are left in either of Europe’s two club cup competitions either.
Borussia Dortmund had a nine-point lead at the start of December and will wonder how they have seemingly thrown the title away.
