Highlights: Caen 1-2 PSG

By on 4th March 2019

Paris Saint-Germain scored late in a come-from-behind win at Caen that sees Thomas Tuchel’s side move 20 points clear of Lille at the top of Ligue 1.

PSG saw themselves fall behind to Casimir Ninga’s goal in the 56th minute against the side placed 18th in the table; five points from safety. Dijon and Guingamp below them both have games in hand.

However, Kylian Mbappe converted a penalty three minutes later to level the score before the French international sealed the win in the 87th minute. With 12 matches remaining, the Parisians already have one firm hand on the title. Tuchel had rested many of the regular first team presumably with an eye on their more important game this week.

Paris Saint-Germain host English Premier League giants Manchester United in the Champions League second round second leg on Wednesday, having won the first leg 2-0 at Old Trafford last month.
