Highlights: PSG 5-1 Montpellier

French Ligue 1 leaders Paris Saint-Germain thrashed Montpellier 5-1 at the Parc des Princes on Wednesday to move 15 points clear at the top on Wednesday.

Layvin Kurzawa opened the scoring on 13 minutes when he flicked on Julian Draxler’s cross, unmarked from six yards out. Though a Florent Mollet free kick on the half hour mark drew the visitors level.

Angel Di Maria scored a free kick of his own in the first minute of stoppage time to restore PSG’s lead and they never looked back. Christopher Nkunku secured the three points in the 73rd minute before a Vitorino Hilton own goal made it 4-1 to the Parisians five minutes later.

Kylian Mbappe scored his 20th league goal of the season 11 minutes from time, poking home Juan Bernet’s low cross following a nice PSG move, to round off an emphatic victory. Paris Saint-Germain host Nimes on Saturday.
