Highlights: Amiens 0-3 PSG
Runaway French Ligue 1 leaders Paris Saintt-Germain extended their unbeaten start to 18 league games with a comfortable 3-0 victory over Amiens at the Stade de la Licorne on Saturday.
The club’s all-time top goalscorer, Edinson Cavani, fired PSG into the lead from the penalty spot just before the hour after Alexis Blin committed a handball.
Cavani then set up Kylian Mbappe four minutes after the hosts were reduced to 10 men when defender Khaled Adenon was sent off for a second yellow card.
PSG defender Marquinhos scored the third goal after some neat build-up play from Julian Draxler. Amiens produced just one shot on target all game against a back four that consisted of Thomas Meunier, Marquinhos, Thiago Silva and Juan Bernat.
Victory leaves the Parisians 13 points ahead of Lille at the top of the Ligue 1 table with two games in hand as they look to win a second successive title and their sixth in seven seasons.
