Highlights: Strasbourg 1-1 PSG
Paris Saint-Germain dropped points for the second game in a row as the defending Ligue 1 champions were held 1-1 at Strasbourg on Wednesday.
Uruguay striker Edinson Cavani netted a second-half penalty to rescue a draw at the Stade de la Meinau after Kenny Lala’s first-half penalty had given the hosts the lead.
Thomas Tuchel’s side won their first 14 league games of the season but have now drawn twice in four days. They still have a 14-point lead over second-place Lille with just one league left game to play before the winter break.
PSG are back in action next Tuesday when they travel to RS Belgrade in the Champions League. Victory in Serbia would guarantee progression into the second round of this season’s competition.
The Parisians were without Neymar due to a groin injury the Brazilian superstar suffered against Bordeaux on Sunday, whilst Tuchel played a strong side for this match.
