Highlights: PSG 1-0 Toulouse
Paris Saint-Germain maintained their 100% start to the Ligue 1 season with a 1-0 victory over Toulouse at the Parc des Princes on Saturday.
Edinson Cavani scored the only goal of the game in the ninth minute in a game where PSG saw 71% of the possession but only produced two shots on target. The Parisians have now won all 14 league games this season and have a 15-point lead over second-place Lyon.
Thomas Tuchel named a strong side for the league game this weekend but his eyes will be on Wednesday night’s crucial Champions League tie against English Premier League opposition Liverpool. Both Neymar and Kylian Mbappe did miss the game through injury though, but both could return to face the Reds midweek.
PSG are one point behind second-placed Liverpool in their Champions League group, who themselves are one point behind Napoli after four games.
