Highlights: PSG 4-1 Reims
Paris Saint-Germain are beginning to look unstopped in this season’s Ligue 1 as they continued their winning start to seven successive games, despite their 4-1 win over Reims midweek being their fourth match in 13 days.
The visitors to the Parc des Princes on Wednesday night actually took a shock lead inside two minutes when Xavier Chavalerin’s well-placed shot found the bottom corner of Gianluigi Buffon’s goal following Julian Draxler’s concession of possession inside his own half.
Thomas Tuchel’s side were level before five minutes were up on the clock and it was 3-1 before half-time when the Uruguayan scored his second. In between, Neymar netted a penalty for his fourth goal in six matches this season.
Thomas Meunier added a fourth 10 minutes into the second half whilst Cavani narrowly missed out on a hat-trick when he struck the crossbar late on.
